Join us as we perform Haydn's Missa in Angustiis (Mass for troubled times) with chamber orchestra led by concert master, Reiko Niiya. Known for its powerful and emotionally rich music, this Mass is associated with Admiral Horatio Nelson’s victory over Napoleon and is considered to be a culmination of Haydn's composition of liturgical music.

Additional pieces include Kyle Pederson’s A Vision Unfolding, Bach’s Dona Nobis and Mozart’s Ave Verum. A Vision Unfolding includes piano, spoken word, violin and trumpet with texts by Langston Hughes, Walt Whitman, Robert Bode, Shanelle Gabriel and Pederson.
